Twice i have had my blood drawn in Alachua, FL through quest lab for processing and each time the requested test has come back as test not performed specimen received unfrozen. Regardless of what psc (patient service center) for Quest you visit your specimens are sent to a processing facility of Quest's choosing mine being Tampa or Orlando.
So they apparently do not understand frozen or stat or proper handling or transporting of lab/blood/specimens, etc......
or even labeling, codes and special transport containers, or even collection protocol for color coded tubes and material of the actual tubes. Complaints, calls, letters seem to mean nothing at Quest!
