Dissatisfied with the company

My husband was recently put in a nursing home. I received a bill from Quest for over $650 dollars done at the facility. Quest is not covered by his insurance. Knowing that this was a basic lab panel and quite overpriced having worked in the industry previously, I called to explain our situation and negotiate a lower rate and was told I have no options but to pay.

Bad attention

my name is Marwi Gonzalez. I consider it very unfair that being 10 minutes late for the appointment or 15 minutes invalidates your right to take the exam that you have been waiting for more than two weeks. And dealing with unprofessional employees who question that you should have woken up earlier questioning your time. I live in Miami, a city with a lot of traffic, I have always chosen quest but from today I will never do labs with you again and thus I will share my experience because it is not fair. I pay for my tests, they don't give them to me

Inaccurate billing, incompetent customer service, broken website

They cannot bill the correct insurance o save their lives, they do not have accurate bill posting on the link through your customer site - it is actually hosted on another site, which is a mystery - so you have mystery bills you try to pay to no availa - and hten after no giving you options to pay the bills they have finally corrected after five attempts to FIND them - they send bills to collecitons, only to admit their mistake, pull them back from collections and then send them through to another billing service that does not show as a medical service and will not accept payment from an FSA card. MIND-BLOWING INCOMPETENCE.

User's recommendation: Ask your doctor NOT to use Quest - the backside hassle for patients is unacceptable. Mine had so many patients complain she dumped them. SPEAK UP.

Left phone at clinic: #1There is NO way of contacting a specific store directly. The automated phone system: outrageous- it takes you in automated, digit-prompted *** circle only to end right where started:IRRITATING! Forced to go in person,NO ONE at desk. Checked in as walk-in, nothing. I even yelled hello- someone yelled unintelligible response from the back;after 30 minutes, i left. Went back again, registered again as walk-in- nothing. Final desperate act- had to make APPOINTMENT.outrageous

Overcharged for Self Pay

I feel that I was overcharged w/testing that my provider requested &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; more codes were added then necessary.

Bad Customer Service

I you lose your appointment time there is no help to retrieve it. You will be in an endless phone loop for hours. The system is not kind to seniors.

Test results request

I sent my fecal samples by mail three weeks ago, so far havent received the test results. Was the sample messed up or missed? Last year, my stomach test sample was messed up by Quest,but Quest didnt provide a compensation for re-test.So sad!

Couldn’t speak to a human person

Employees

On a basic appointment for a blood draw I over heard some employees start talking about not getting vaccines. One tall bald guy, Bryan/ Ryan said wearing mask was BS, wearing PPE was Bs and the flu killed more people. I was tired of hearing this and left. I told my doctor and asked never to be sent to quest again. Some education needs to be done with your employees

I was treated unfairly and disregard for my need to be served. I will never go to Quest again

I scheduled an appointment and was by passed by at least three people. One who didnt even have an appointment . To me I was deliberately ignored and was not served. I will inform my family member and never go again. Very poor judgement by Quest staff!

Delay in receiving test results.

I had my blood work done on the morning of May 11th, today is May 24th and still final results of some of my tests remain pending. Ive called several times and this is yet to be resolved. This extended wait is unacceptable, I have a follow up appointment with my doctor this week and need some efficiency on Quests part.

Such poor customer service

I live in Massapequa and prior to the pandemic quest was my lab of choice . There is a tech that is there who is so disrespectful to all that enter. Any old person who is not familiar with the kiosk sign in no one is there to guide them the customer window has the curtains pulled shut and no assistance to anyone young or old that may not know the system ! If you come in snd find the office empty they will open door ask for a person by name only first name now in my experience may have more than one Susan correct poor quality control . Poor customer relations in this office

Long wait in spite of appointment

Charging appointment time to every ten minutes instead of 15 just has more people in office waiting longer have a 9:30 appointment and theyre running an hour behind
