According to Quest Diagnostics, if the consumer wants to get lab results, all he/she has to do is sign up for myquest. There is no disclosure that such results will not be available for 30 days after signing up.

The amount of information the consumer has to provide on care360.com, the 3rd party used by Quest, is rather scary. Questions about jobs, places lived, family, friends, and others, go back to 40 years. Only after volumes of very private information are entered on the care360 portal, does the disclosure of not being able to get any lab results, show up.

This appears to be a very sneaky and dishonest way to access identifying information on people. I say "BEWARE".

Reason of review: Order processing issue.

I agree. I started to fill out the application but then quit for the reason you are writing about -- all that information that's personal, private, and risky to give out. Fortunately, I'm able to get my lab results through my doctor's online portal (plus she's good about informing me personally) and I'm going to leave it at that.
